Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Nigezza Creates Project Share Stampin Up!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, it's Thursday so it's time for another Project Share.  Every Thursday I chose a project from 3 of my crafty friends. From the left we have Jill aka Paper Daisy Crafting, Verity aka Inkybutterfly, me and Heather aka Stamp with Nellie.

As you will see we have all been keeping ourselves busy in our craft rooms. I hope you like the projects I have chosen to share with you today.

Heather from Stamp With Nellie

Heather has made this lovely rainbow effect card to show off the current in colours that are retiring soon.  They look so good together like this. Which is your favourite? I am going to miss a few very much.

Verity from Inkybutterfly

Verity has been doing some colour challenges and with this one she has used a much loved stamp set that is retiring. Such a great stamp set and I love how these go so well together and I love the blending .

Jill from Paper Daisy Crafting

Nigezza Creates with friends The Product Share 30th April 2020

Jill made a similar card to this for a blog hop and as she normally does she has made it again for the video tutorial. Such a pretty die set this and Jill has made quite a few different projects with it that show its versatility. Jill has also used the lovely sentiment from the stamo set that is in the Lots of Happy card kit. Both these lovely items are retiring soon and have been reduced on the Last Chance Products, great time to shop.

I hope you have enjoyed these projects and have visited the blogs. I will be back tomorrow with another  Project, until then ...

Happy Crafting!

My First Junk Journal: Decorating Tags

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate. I am here with another instalment in my Junk Journal series. Today I am decorating the tags I made last week.

I am really enjoying making my first Junk Journal and so excited to be sharing it with you.  I take you through the process from start to finish ...not that it is finished yet of course! It is a work in progress and I hope you will join me. I have made mistakes and I have learned from them and I have enjoyed every minute.

If you missed the beginning episode 1 you can view it here :-) I will be doing this every Wednesday so do subscribe to not miss any. I have created a playlist on my YouTube channel so you can easily find all my tutorials in this series.

    Measurements and Materials

I normally give you the measurements of my projects, but for this project this will not always be possible as it is often not precise as it involves ripping paper!

The signatures in this Junk Journal are me using A4 sheets folded in half to make an A5 sized journal.

    • I took 1 sheet of standard card stock (A4 in UK)
    • I stamped over both sides of the cardstock
    • I cut 2" off the short side then cut this in half to for 2 tags
    • I used the 2 different tag topper punches on these to make the tags
    • I cut the other Piece of card stock at every 3" on the long side
    • This made 3 tags 3" wide and one slightly smaller
    • I cut the corners off the top of the rectangles to form tags
    • I punched holes in the top of the tags
    • I used scraps to make hole reinforcers
    • Then I decorated using book pages, coffee stained doilies, words I had printed, flowers from the paper collection I am using
    • The journaling mats were stamped with a retired Stampin' Up! stamp and decorates with various stamps including a word prompt for the journaling
