Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Nigezza Creates Project Share 1

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, its Thursday so I am here with another  Project Share. I have chosen 3 projects for you that I hope you will enjoy. We are all Pootlers and last week end we al Took part in a blog hop that was showcasing Sale-A-Bration FREEBIES so I thought these would make good choices for you. I do encourage you to go and visit these blogs for more information and maybe go for a hop if you haven't already :-)

Jill from Paper Daisy Crafting

The Project Share Project Nigezza Creates

The Project Share Project Nigezza Creates

Jill used the Free Frog stamp set for her card. I love this pop-up card with what looks like dancing frogs on the inside, so cute. Jill has done a video tutorial of this card as well and there is a link to it on her blog so I would definitely check that out.

You can take a closer look at this project by clicking here :-)

Verity from Inkybutterfly

The Project Share Project Nigezza Creates

Verity used the Free Butterfly DSP, I used this myself n the blog hop. It's great that the butterflies punch out with the Butterfly Duet punch. I Love how Verity has used the Black & White some of the DSP as well as the coloured side.

You can take a closer look at this project by clicking here :-)

Heather from Stamp with Nellie

The project share project Nigezza Creates

Heather used 2 of the Free items, the ribbon and the stamp set. I love the sentiments in this stamp set and I love this ribbon, sadly the ribbon is no longer in stock as it has been so popular  all stock have not gone. Heather has CASE'd the catalogue for this layout, it  is a great place to get inspiration.

I do hope you have enjoyed the projects I have chosen for you and you will go and check them out. I look forward to bringing you some more projects next time :- )

I will be back on Sunday with another  Project, until then ...

Happy Crafting!

Colour Challenge #stampinforall

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, I am showing you the card I made for the colour challenge from last Wednesday on the Facebook group Stampin' For All.

Nigezza Creates Pink Colour challenge

Colour Challenge

These are the 3 shades of pink we had to use and could add another colour as well. So I could have done a floral card with green stems ... instead I added another pink! I added the Lovely Lipstick Foil!

Measurements and Materials

  • Thick whisper white card stock was used for the base
  • I used the Stampin Write markers on the stamps to create the foliage
    • This enabled me to have the 2 colours, Melon mambo for the leaves and stem and powder pink for the foliage
  • I don't have the Melon Mambo ink pad but do have all the markers and as they have the same ink as the ink pads you can use them to stay with.
  • The other great think is you can use the re-inkers to refill them as well
  • I die cut foliage in Powder Pink and Flirty Flamingo and a butterfly in the lovely Lipstick foil
  • I used the sentiment and frame from the host stamp set Very Vintage
  • I do not have the matching punch for this so I cut it out with the Square stitched framelit
Despite it being pink it was fun to do ...I make do it again in neutrals though!

I love challenges because they take you out of your comfort zone and you never know I may end up liking pink! lol

I will be back soon with another project, until then ...

Happy Crafting!

Die Storage For InspireINK Romance Blog Hop

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, I really hope you like my project.  This is the tutorial for the die storage I made for the inspireINK Blog Hop. I cheated a bit on the Romance theme and instead of a card I have expressed my love of my crafty stash and this beautiful piece of paper lol! The Box holds the largest packs of dies that Stampin' Up! make. I had die storage but it was not wide enough for these packs and now I have 4 of them I needed somewhere to put them, so I made my own and I LOVE it :-)

Die Storage For InspireINK Romance Blog Hop Nigezza Creates

Measurements and Materials

I wanted to make sure the box was really strong so I used the 12x12 white thick card that comes in DSP packets from Stampin' Up!

      • Score @ 3/4" at each end on the long side
      • Score @ 1 1/2" on the short side
    • 10"  x 8"
      • Score @ 1/1/2" at each end on the long side
      • Score @ 1 1/2" on the short side
      • Mark 4 1/2" from the horizontal score line on each of the short edges
      • Cut diagonally from the top corner each middle score line to the mark you made
  • Mat sizes
    • Fresh Fig Card Stock
      • Front: 4 1/4" x 6 3/4"
      • Back: 6 1/4" x 6 3/4"
      • Sides: 6 1/4" x 1 1/4" (x 2 of these)
    • Patterned Paper (DSP)
      • Front: 4" x 6 1/2"

#stampinforall Sketch Challenge

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. As you will know if you are a regular to my blog, I am on the Design Team on the Facebook group Stampin' For All which is run by Amanda Charlesworth AKA Scrimping Mommy. Each week challenges are set by the Design Team. There is a Monday themed challenge that runs until the Friday and is then blogged with all entries at the weekend. Every Wednesday there is a broader challenge often a sketch or colour challenge. These run Wednesday to Wednesday. These are for fun and to inspire. A few weeks ago I set a Sketch challenge and I was so overwhelmed by how many people joined in that I just had to write this blog to share them with everyone. These challenges are open to any member of the Facebook group and it is a great way to be creative and often try something new or out of your comfort zone. Last week it had me making a card with pink! (not my favourite colour!)

Sketch Challenge

I have written a blog and filmed a tutorial for my card I made but I will show you again.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

My 2 cards to start every one off

I used the new Stitched Rectangles from Stampin' Up! for these cards.

The Stampin' For All groups cards :-)

This first card is by Amanda Charlesworth. I love all the bold patterns in the paper she used.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

Victoria Littlewood made this lovely card. I really like the individual letters in the sentiment.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

This card was made by Heather Forgan. I am not a fan of pink but I really like this card, I especially love the embossed layer.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

I am delighted to see Sharleene join in this challenge as she is my Niece. We live really far away from each other but do craft together when we do see each other. Love the way the striped paper goes with the stripes on the heart and a great sentiment.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

This card is by Anw Lewis. I love these pandas, such fun and what a fab idea to use them as a background stamp.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

The is a card by Sylvia Hamilton ...another member of my family! Sylvia is my sister and started card making last January and is totally hooked! Like Sharleene we don't get together very often but when we do we can craft all day and night! Love the use of the glasses stamp to match the background paper.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

This card is by Pam Campbell I love the colours in the card and the neat matting really makes each layer pop.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

This entry is by Verity Pursglove. Love this paper, its like fireworks exploding at the party, such fun.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

This card is by Karen Jane Tilley, I love purple and the use of the butterflies in the same colour as the leaves really bring this card together.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

This card is by Hannah McCurley,  I think I have completely overlooked this stamp, very pretty and reminds me of a fountain in Paris I once had to spend 2 days of my holiday there hunting for because my Great niece was obsessed by some programme it featured in! Anyway I digress from this lovely card, love the matting it really pops.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

Debbie Roberts made this next card. Love how she has picked out the colours in the butterflies and matched them to the ribbons, just beautiful.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

Beth Metzger Scharnell has made this next card. beautiful colouring on velum and I love how the main focal point has been picked out bu the white card ... and of course its purple <3

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

Debbie Harper has given us another lovely butterfly card. Just stunning. I love the flight trails, whenever I try and do that it always looks a right mess. Love how the black and white really compliments the bright green.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

Carol Pocock has made a wonderful masculine card. It looks a bit industrial to me, I really love the silver embossed layer and the way the bottle blend into the paper and yet stand out as well.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

This last card is from my other sister, Dee Martin, the 3 members of my family all crafted together to enter this challenge, so jealous that they get to craft together regularly. Another lovely panda card and I love how the red balloon really pops off the page.

Stampin' For All Sketch Challenge Nigezza Creates

I do hope you enjoyed seeing these cards as much as I have enjoyed sharing them. I love the challenges set on the group, do join in :-)

I will be back tomorrow  with another project, until then ... Happy Crafting!
