Jill & Gez Go Crafting 31st August 2020

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Welcome to Jill & Gez Go Crafting.  Every other Monday I will share 3 projects from my good friend  Jill AKA Paper Daisy Crafting. I really hope you go and visit her blog and watch her videos on YouTube. I have picked amazing projects to share with you, I am sure you will love them too :-)

Jill & Gez Go Crafting with Stampin Up 2nd March

Just in case you are new to my blog let me introduce Jill she is on the right of this photo (I am on the left). She has a lovely Blog which I am sure you will want to check out once you see the projects I have chosen to show you.

Project 1

Jill has been continuing her beginners series and she has shown how to make this gorgeous card by using Stampin' Write markers.

Project 2

I have shared this little treat box before but today I am sharing the matching card. Jill made this in lots of different colours but I am showcasing the Gorgeous Grape version.

Project 3

As part of Jills beginners series she has done a tutorial on heat embossing. This card shows how dramatic it can be and how this not a lot else is required to make a beautiful card.

I hope you enjoyed the projects I chose and I hope you will go and check out Jill's Blog.

Happy Crafting :-)

Frozen Snowflake Stack Of Boxes

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today as promised  I am here with the tutorial for the project I made for the  Ink Stamp Share blog hop. The theme this month was the new Stampin' Up! mini catalogue. I have used the lovely Snowflake Splendour DSP (designer Series Paper) and the So Many Snowflake dies. Once I had made this stack I looked at it and immediately thought of Disney's Frozen. So I originally made this as a Christmas stack of boxes but now it could easily be as a present of a Frozen fan as well.

Measurements and Materials

  • Large box
    • Base 7 3/8" x 7 3/8"
    • Score on all 4 sides @ 1 3/4"
    • Lid 6" x 6" (-1/16" off each side)
    • Score on all 4 sides @ 1"
  • Middle box
    • Base 6 3/8" x 6 3/8"
    • Score on all 4 sides @ 1 3/4"

Posted For You Vintage Card

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well.  I was playing with the lovely set Posted For You and the great rectangle postage stamp punch and came up with a lovely bright card. Then I decided to make it again but this time go all vintage. I love both versions but really love the vintage one. The bright one is coloured in using the Stampin' Blends but the vintage one is watercoloured with the ink pad and a paint brush.

Posted For You Vintage Card

Measurements and Materials

  • Card base is hick Very Vanilla card stock embossed with the Old World Paper embossing folder
  • It is a standard size card base, half a sheet of A4 scored in half
    • 5 7/8" x 4 1/8"
  • I stamped the 3 images from the tamp set in Crumb cake and used an aqua painter and some of the ink to just colour each image in
  • I then punched out each one.
  • The were popped up on dimentionals on a mat of Crumb Cake cut using the lovely Ornate Layers
  • The sentiment was stamped with Crumb Cake and cut out using the stitched rectangle
  • This was then matted onto Crumb Cake
    • 1"x3"
  • I tied a bow with linen thread to just finish it off
  • You can see in the picture below the difference between water colour and using the crumb Cake blends - I like the more subtle look of water colour for this card
  • I have also included pictures of the Shaded Spruce version

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
