Vintage Christmas Folio Part 2: Adding Front Envelopes

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am bringing the second part of my  Vintage Christmas folio series. Today we are making the small front envelopes and covering them.  I was inspired by  Liz The Paper Project, I had seen the video before and thought it was a lovely little folio so was excited to have a go at making one myself.  I had 2 retired packs of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper with paper I had been planning to use in a vintage project.. I do hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making this folio.

Measurements and Materials

  • I made a square envelope using the envelope punch board
  • I used the Stitched rectangle dies to cut the window for the envelope
  • I added some window sheet (acetate) in the aperture I made
  • I used the DSP to cover the envelopes after they had been made to look old with inks
  • I created tags pockets by using scraps of the DSP

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made, some of the making is at the bottom of the screen so half out of view, I do apologise I did not realise but think you can see enough to work out what I am doing :-)
