Vintage Tags & Journal Pages Using Stencils Made From Meadow Dies

Thank you for visiting my blog today on Junk Journal day, I really do appreciate it. I was so excited when I first saw the new Stampin' Up! Annual catalogue because of these 2 die sets. Perfect for Junk Journals. I wanted to create. stencil using the Meadow dies and then stencil over these fabulous stitched edged dies. Then I thought why not stencil over an entire page as well. The stamps et that goes with the meadow dies is also perfect for stamping in journals to give an aged vintage look. 

Measurements and Materials

• I cut a 6"x6" piece of thick card to cut the dies from to create my stencil
• I also made some smaller stencils with single dies as well
• Ink was brushed over with blending brushes to create subtle backgrounds
• The Tailor Made Tag dies are perfect for journals as well
• I left the card in the die and used my blending brush to add ink so when the die was taken off there was a lovely border where there was no ink
• I used the stencils i created to add image to the tag
• I used the stamp set to add more aged effects
• Quick easy fun tags
