Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am bringing you the tutorial for the gift box I made for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop. This month the theme was floral. I have done something I have never done before, I have cut into the very beautiful Simply Elegant DSP just days after the catalogue went live. I usually hoard it until just before it retires and then use it! But by doing it early it means that I have a whole year where I can actually order another pack! Plus I get to have this gorgeous box on display in my craft room so I see it. Much better than being in a drawer! 

Measurements and Materials

• Box Base Basic Black Card Stock
• 3 9/16" x 3 9/16"
• Score on all 4 sides @ 1"
• Box lid Simply Elegant DSP
• 3 3/8" x 3 3/8"
• Score @ 7/8" on all 4 sides
• Scrap of Basic black card stock for flower
• Scrap of Copper Foil Sheet for flower
• Matt Black dot
