My First Junk Journal: Folded Page Pocket

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate. I am so excited to be sharing with you another episode of my first Junk Journal.  If you missed episode 1 you can view it here :-) episode 2 is here :-) episode 3 is here :-) episode 4 is here :-)  I have created a playlist on my YouTube channel so you can easily find all my tutorials in this series.

So this is a series that takes you through the process from start to finish ...not that it is finished yet of course! It is a work in progress and I hope you will join me. I have made mistakes and I have learned from them and I have enjoyed every minute.

In this episode I show you how I made a page into a pocket.

Measurements and Materials

I normally give you the measurements of my projects, but for this project this will not always be possible as it is often not precise as it involves ripping paper!

The signatures in this Junk Journal are me using A4 sheets folded in half to make an A5 sized journal.

Pocket

  • Full page used for pocket
  • Folded corner to half way down the page and folded point back up to form a tuck spot
  • Secured with an eyelet
  • Decorated with 6"x6" patterned paper
  • Tag made and stitched
  • Small lolly journaling spot added to folded section
  • Clusters added for decoration
  • Pages stamped and distressed
  • I used a doily for a stencil

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
