Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀
Yesterday on our Facebook group Come Crafting With Jill & Gez, Jill & I we did our monthly live crafting session. We do this on the first Saturday of the month.  We set a monthly challenge and this is drawn in the live and we send a small prize to the winner. Why not join us next time.
This month the theme was retiring favourites.  I have used a die set I love and an embossing folder as well as some ribbon that are all retiring. They are great for vintage projects and that is what I am making today.

Measurements and Materials
- I used some corrugated card from a Stampin' Up! shipping box as the base of the frame
 - I used gold and copper embossing powder to give it a gilded finish
 - I mixed the colours so that it looked aged
 - I over heated in laces so it dulled to again add to the aged look

- I added some brown stazon to add some more aged look
 - I used the Ornate Floral embossing folder on a 1/4 sheet of Crumb Cake card stock
 - I used an aqua painter to wet the edges and then tore off each side to gve a rough edge
 - I then used Soft Suede and blending brush to ink over and give the aged look

- I die cut a frame from Ornate layers and heat embossed in the sae way as the corrugated card layer
 - I added my parents wedding photo
 - The whole thing was finished with a ribbon

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)

Time for the closeups!
I have used my parents wedding photo for this project. I thought this vintage look went perfectly with the 1950s wedding photo. I just love this picture 💜
This is the prototype I made using a photo from the internet. This would make a lovely topper for the front of a journal.
Jill's Easter Basket
Jill made a 3D project for a change! A lovely Easter basket for some mini eggs wrapped in SU colours, how cool is that?!
I hope you like this project and will give it a try. To make sure you don't miss any of my projects why not subscribe to my YouTube channel and subscribe to my newsletter and click the button to follow my blog :-)
