Using A Full Edith Holden Page In My Junk Journal

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog on Junk Journal day, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. I am continuing with my Edith Holden journal that is now almost ready for the cover. After sorting out the pages and ephemera I had made so far I realised I needed some more pages in my journal. I have been thinking about how I could use the full page images as they are just too stunning not to use in their entirety. This is what I have come up with. I hope you like what I have done and find this useful :-)

Measurements and Materials

  • I used a full page the Edith Holden book
  • The images are so lovely and wanted to find a way to use the whole page
  • I trimmed the height down to the right size for my tea dyed paper
  • Scored at the half page mark (5 7/8" in UK)
  • I then glued the larger section to a folded A4 sheet of tea dyed paper
  • The small flap I glued to the other half of the sheet to form a tuck spot
  • Decorated with my favourite Stampin' Up! stamps for Junk Journals and ink.

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
