Stamp 'n Hop February Blog Hop: Colour Challenge

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it.Today I am on the Stamp n Hop blog hop. This month we have a colour challenge. I looked at the colours and pulled the DSP from the different colour  family packs and seeing them together made me decide to make a pen pot for my desk. I have made a bigger version but as the paper is 6"x6" this version was going to be smaller and perfect for my crafty essentials.

Measurements and Materials

  • You need 6 sheets of 6" x 6" DSP to make this pot
  • Each one is folded on the same origami style to create a clever robust pen pot
    • I will have a video tutorial for this on Tuesday 16th Feb
  • A rectangle of card stock is used with each triangle to give it strength
    • 2 15/16" x 1 1/2"
  • I cut the largest scalloped circle for the base and punched out circled to decorate the top and cover up where they all joined up
  • The pen pot measure 3" tall so is a good size for pins and other crafty tools on your desk

Video Tutorial

I will have the video tutorial  on my YouTube channel on Tuesday so do pop back to see it :-)

Time for the closeups!
