Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. I have wanted to make a mini traveler's for a long time. I make lots of vintage style journals so thought it would make a nice change to make a bright one wit no inking or grunging (that may not be a word!).
I am a self confessed paper hoarder, I like to keep it in a drawer, open it every now and again look at it and stroke it! I am sure I am not alone. I do occasionally make some desk storage out of it that way i still get to look at it everyday. Then I came up with this fantastic idea of making a journal with this paper that way I get to really enjoy it.
I have used this lovely paper pack from Stampin' Up! Flower & Field. It is a freebie pack during Sale-a-bration. All you have to do is spend £45 on anything you like (before P&P) and you can chose this for free. It is lovely paper. I have made a few projects with it and loved it so decided to make a mini Traveler's Notebook with is.
Measurements and Materials
- Journal pages measure
- 5 1/2" x 8"
- Score @ 4" on the long side
- 6 sheets of 120gsm copier paper was used
- 6 sheets of DSP we used
- One sheet was 6" x 5 1/2"
- Score @ 4" on the long side
- This gave a 2" page which was glued to the copier page to form a pocket
- Tags 4 3/4" x 3"
- Mat for tag 2 3/4" x 4"
- Journal cover 6" x 9"
- Score @ 4 1/4" & 4 3/4" on the long side
