Colour Combo October Blog Hop

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am hopping with  the Colour Combo Blog hop. The 3 colours this month are, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate & Mossy Meadow. So I have decided to use this pretty flower and make some thank you cards. I do hope you like them. I was just intending on making one but ended up with 2!

Measurements and Materials

  • Card base uses Thick Whisper White
    • Card 1 is 5 1/2" x 8 1/4"
    • Scored @ 4 1/8"
    • Card 2 is normal C6 - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
    • Scored @ 4 1/8"
  • Card 1 uses the 2 largest Stitched Rectangles for the frame and card mat
    • This is why I cat the card base dow to 5 1/2" so it was in proportion to the frame
  • Card 2 has a strip of DSP cut 2"x5 7/8"
  • The Stitched Nested Dies were used for the topper
  • Mat for the first card was decorated using the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks
    • I really like this mask and ink blending effect
  • Flower fro Four Season Floral was colours using Stampin' Blends
    • Bermuda Bay
    • Smoky Slate
    • Mossy Meadow

  1. Such lovely cards using a single stamp and sentiment. I love how you have used DSP for one half of the card leaving the other side the colour of the card base. I'm certainly going to give this a try.
