Christmas Tree Reece's Mini Cup Treat Holder

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well.  I was recently at a 'Non Stage' event with some fellow Pootlers and the lovely Heidi from Flutterby Heidi organised it for us. I just had to make her a little thank you gift. SO I went and had a look at some of her projects as she had done a series using Ferrero Rocher chocolates and I thought I could resize one f her projects to fit the Reece's Mini Cups. So I found a great treat holder using some retired Christmas Tree Dies and I have recreated it using the Pine Tree Punch.

Nigezza Creates with Stampin' Up! Wrapped In Plaid & Reece's Cups

Measurements and Materials

  • Shaded Spruce card stock 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
    • Score @ 1/2" on all 4 sides
    • Make up like a normal box
  • Punch 4 trees from Shaded Spruce
    • Score 2 lines alone the long edges
    • It is important the have 2 trees the opposite way round as the edges are not symmetrical
    • Glue edges of the tress together
  • Punch 4 trees from Wrapped in Plaid DSP
    • Trim the zig zag edges off to form a straight edge
    • adhere each triangle tree onto the card stock trees
  • Stamp the sentiments on to a scrap of Cherry Cobbler with versamark
    • Heat emboss with Gold embossing powder
    • Punch out each sentiment separately with the Classic Label Punch
    • Resize the labels
  • The Tree topper slots into the bottom and the Reece's Cup holds it in place

Now watch the video tutorial to see how the box was made :-)
