Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. Recently I went on a lovely trip to Ireland for a big family party. My lovely Aunty Sally was 80 so I had to make a very special card. I have made exploding box cards before and this was I really loved making.
Measurements and Materials
- Card size when collapsed 7" x 5"
- One sheet of Crumb Cake card stock
- Score on the long side @ 2 1/2" - 5" - 7 1/2" - 10"
- Score on the short side @ 4"
- Trim the card stock down to 7" x 10 1/2"
- The long strip will be cut in half and then 4 strips will be made
- The strip will be trimmed to 1/2" either side of the score lines
- This will make 4 supports that will be stuck across the box which is what the decorations will be attached to.
- 1/4" strips of different shades of green cardstock were cut to stick the flowers
- I used Gingham DSP for the mats to decorate the box
- 4 for the bottom of the box - 3 3/4" x 2 1/4"
- 6 for the top flaps - 2 3/4" x 2 1/4"
- For the back of the box I used Whisper White Cardstock, one on the back to write your message and one on the inside to decorate, they also add strength to the box
- Whisper White crd stock 6 3/4" x 2 1/4"

- Medium Daisy Punch
- 1/2" circle Punch
- 1" circle Punch
- Leaf Punch
- Colour Family 6" x 6" DSP packs
- Well Written Dies
