I recently shared a journal I made which had an envelope in it made using some baking grease proof paper and a paper napkin. A viewer asked for a link to the video where I show how I made it ....turns out I have not actually filmed one! So here it is, very easy and such a satisfying texture and crinkle

This is the final technique I shared at the Rach & Bella Crafts retreat, using paper napkins. I really love how these turned out. The are so 'spring' and will perfectly compliment the Garden Story kits produced for the collaboration.

I don't want to confuse anyone but yes it is Sunday! I usually do a charity shop haul on a Sunday but the lovely Steph from Hilltop View Journals is doing her #jigsawjounral collaboration video tomorrow and wanted to link back to this video which was not due to go out until Wednesday. SO just for Steph I have rearranged things!

Ideas For Using Napkin Paper Made With Freezer Paper

At the recent retreat I attended I did a workshop showing lots of ways of using paper napkins (serviettes) in a journal. This first idea is using freezer paper. I do not show how to stick the napkin to the freezer paper as lots of people have done that. You simply iron the top layer of the napkin to the shinny side of the freezer paper. then you have a lovely sheet of paper to use as you please. I did tea dye the paper after sticking and it was absolutely fine and did not unstick.

I made a gusseted packet and a corner tuck with a hidden journaling spot

I made an envelope pocket that folds down for a hidden journaling spot

Using Stampin' Up! Stamps On Paper Napkins To Decorate Old Book Pages

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well.  I have another video in my Junk Journal series for you today.  This is the tutorial for the project I did for the Joy Of Sets blog hop, I made this journalling card as well as using the napkin technique on some old book pages. Last week I shared the tutorial for the journalling card and this week I have the video for the napkin technique. 

Measurements and Materials

• I have used various stamp and dies sets to create this junk journal page
• I have also used paper napkins and decoupaged them on top of an old book page
• Lots of ink blending
• I even stamped on the paper napkin white layer with Stazon and decoupaged that to the envelope pocket, I love doing this as the effect is so much nicer than just stamping straight onto the page
• The small journalling card was created with the 
• Stitched So Sweetly die set
• Old World Paper embossing folder
• Very Versailles stamp set
• Peaceful Moments stamp set
• Cinnamon Cider ink
• I also used word dies from 
• Word Wishes
• Parisian Dies
• Really love the mixture of all the fonts
