Stamp N Hop November Blog Hop: Anything Goes!

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

I am taking part in the Stamp N Hop blog hop today, you may have arrive here from my good friend
Jill Chapman

The theme this month is anything goes so I have made a decoration for the Christmas Tree. I have made this style before a few years ago but have resized it this time so that 2 can be made from a standard sheet of cardstock. I decided to make a vintage looking one because I do love a bit of vintage. I was inspired by the scrabble tiles I got in a local shop last weekend. For UK readers this was The Works.  I loved the colours available, a green a bit like Shaded Spruce and a red similar to Cherry Cobbler. I thought they had a vintage feel about them.  I love how they look on the decoration.  This decoration can also be a gift box.

    • Flip the card stock over and score on the opposite long side in the same way
    • Score two diagonal lines in each square next to the square you just scored in
      • See template below that shows all the score line
    • Punch a small hole in the squares that have not been scored in at one end only
      • See template
      • It is important that the hole is in the centre point so you can draw a cross to help you

    • If you want a smaller margin around the squares cut them at 7/8" x 7/8"
