Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀
I am here with part 2 of my mini autumn journal. I am making this for a swap and am very excited to be doing this. I have decided to make it spiral bound because I really enjoyed making on of these and I am interested to see how it looks in a mini version.
I have filmed the process and the tutorials are split into 3 parts.Part 1 - getting the paper ready and cut up for the journal - Video Here :-) Part 2 - making the tags and decorating the pockets and pages and adding the bindingPart 3 - the flip through
I will have a play list on my YouTube channel call Mini Autumn/Fall journal so you can find all the videos there once they have all been published.
I have been horning a lovely pack of Stampin' Up! DSP from years ago and this is the perfect project to use it on. I am also using stamps from the current catalogue as well as my favourite retires stamp sets. I love how the stamp pad ink matches the DSP used.
Measurements and Materials
- Cover made from grey board/chip board
 - 3 1/4" X 4 1/4"

- Designer Series Paper fir front and back cover cut 1/2" bigger all way round - 3 3/4" x 4 3/4"
 - Card stock for the inside of cover 3 1/8" x 4 1/8"
 - Pockets for the inside of covers 3 1/8" x 2"
 - Score @ 1/2" on the short side
 - This gives a fold over at the top of the pocket for strength and decoration

- Each page in the journal measures 3" x 4"
 - Pockets 2" x 3"
 - Score @ 1/2" on the short side
 - This gives a fold over at the top of the pocket for strength and decoration

- Flip out pages 4" x 4 1/2"
 - Score @ 1 1/2" on the long side
 - This gives you a 1 1/2" flip which allows for a tab to be added & won't interfere with the spiral binding

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
