Pootlers Card Swap: Simple Memorable Mosaic Card

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well.  At the launch of every catalogue the Pootlers (Pootles Team name) take part in a card swap. We are put into teams of 5 or 6 and we make an identical card for everyone in that group using new products from the new catalogue. It really is fun to do and a great way to see products that you have not bought yet (I say yet because I always end up with new products on my MUST HAVE list! lol) I decided to make a fairly simple card for my swap, all identical except for the colour. It allowed me to play with each of the new in colours for 2019-2021.

I have had to wait until everyone received their cards before I posted this so as not to spoil anyones surprise! By waiting I now have a project that fits with the current blog challenge on Inspire Create

Inspire Create Blog Challenge #046 Colour Challenge

I am just in time to enter this challenge! It ends today phew! The challenge is a colour challenge and the colours are the 2019-2021 In Colours. 

Measurements and Materials

Card Base: Whisper White

• 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
• Score @ 4 1/8" on the long side

Card mats

• First mat in the In Colour
• 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
• Second mat in Whisper White
• 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"

Belly Band

• In colour card stock
• The stitched lace effect die from Arts and Crafts die set
• I have done some with one ribbon and some I have used a double ribbon
• You can see this in the pictures, which do you like best?

Sentiment

• In the stamp set there is a sentiment that matches the lovely new Timeless Label punch
• I stamped 5 in each of the In Colours and punched them out
• I used the Shammy to clean the stamp quickly between stamping

Card Decoration

• I wanted to show an alternative way of using this stamp set
• I stamped the weeping willow branches as a decorative element at the top and bottom of the card
