Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Hi and thank you for joining me today. I am using Stampin' Up! Abstract Impressions today to make this beautiful gift box. I have hand the box base and invade the lid with the floral corner die and added a butterfly on top.
Measurements and Materials
- Whisper White A4 Thick Cardstock
- Lid = 7 3/8"x6 1/8" score @ 1" on all 4 sides
- Base = 8 5/16" x 7 1/16" score @ 1 1/2" on all 4 sides
- Whisper White A4 Card Stock 5 5/16" x 4 1/16"
- Blackberry Bliss A4 Cardstock to die cut the Butterfly and the flowers
- Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin' Pad to hand stamp the base of the box
- Abstract Impressions Photopolymer Bundle for the inlay on the box lid, butterfly and flowers
- I hand stamped the base using 2 of the large flower stamps from Abstract Impressions.
- I stamped all over the cardstock with full strength ink using the thinest flower stamp
- I stamped on top of this first stamp after stamping off with the thicker flower stamp
- I left no space between the flowers by making them overlap a bit
- I really like how it turned out and think I will be doing this again and make a matching card

What a fabulous box Gez, not only is it gorgeous but it shows off the thinlits from the 'Abstract Impressions' bundle to its fullest with the dry embossing and the 3D butterfly. I absolutely love it - I purchased the Abstract Impressions stamp set and received this today but did not go for the bundle. After watching your video tutorial today, I am now wishing I had gone for the bundle because I would have had the two wonderful dies to work with along with others that will be in the set. Never mind I will have to pay full price now because there is no way I am not going to have the set now. Stunning box Gez I do hope that it is for someone special. :O)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lorraine, I am so glad you like my box. Its funny as I nearly didn't buy the stamp set, I was only going to get the dies! I am so impressed with the stamps now I` have them. Couldn't possibly be without a butterfly die in my stash and I love the floral corner die :-)

ReplyDeleteHi Christy, the box is 1 1/2" deep and measures 4 1/16" wide and 5 5/16" long. The size was to fit the corner die which is why it is in 16ths. :-)
