Two Step Stamping Blog Hop

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

I am hopping with the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop and this month we are looking at 2 step stamping.  There are many stamp sets in the Stampin; Up! catalogue that are 2 step.  This enables you to create multi coloured images. I am using 2 sets to demonstrate, Hand Penned Petals  & Colour & Contour. as well as their matching die sets.  I have used the neutrals to stamp so I had some vintage look.

Two Step Stamping Blog Hop

Let's Make Some Faux Vintage Ephemera With Easy 2 Step Stamping

Measurements and Materials

  • Tag 6 1/6" x 3 1/2"
  • DSP 5 1/2" x 3"
  • The stamp sets are photopolymer so they can be lined up and the second stamp can be placed correctly
  • The two step in these sets were
    • Step 1 the flower outlines
    • Step 2 the fillers for the flowers
  • The sets I have used are not exact matches so they give a sort of hand painted look which I really like

I will have a video on my YouTube channel tomorrow so do pop back then :-)

Let's Make Vintage Library Pockets #msscrapbusters

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

I recently showed you what I bought while on holiday and the things I made and promised to bring you some videos showing how I made them.  So in this video I am bringing you the library pockets I made.I was inspired by #msscrapbusters, this is the first time I am doing one of these.  They was very quick and easy and perfect for a spot of holiday crafting.   You can make these any size, you just need a rectangle piece of paper.

Let's Make Vintage Library Pockets #msscrapbusters

Measurements and Materials

  • Each rectangle of paper was scored @ 1/4" or 1/2" on each end of the short side
  • I just eyeballed the long side and scored about 1/3" of the way along it
  • I feel this made the best pocket size, but you can do them any size you like
  • I then added small ephemera to the pockets
  • These can now be added to a page to for another pockets behind

Now watch the video tutorial to see how this was made :-)
