The Project Share September Blog Hop - Romance

I am hoping with the Project Share blog hop and our theme this month is romance. I did struggle a bit with this one, I was originally going to make a card but then I had a moment of inspiration and came up with these wedding favours.  I have made similar using the now retired tag topper punches and was thinking how I could make them with current products. This is what I worked out.

Measurements and Materials

  • I used a strip of DSP (designer series paper) 2" x 4"
    • This means you can get 18 from a 12"x12" sheet
  • I used the large double ended die from the Designer Tag die set

Let's See What I Bought & Made While On Holiday

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

I recently went on holiday, Ed & I stayed in our son's flat just outside London while he was on holiday in the US. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed the lovely heatwave! We went into London and visited places of interest around where the flat was. There were a few places I wanted to go that I had never been to so that was good. We went out a few evening but spent most of them relaxing in the flat after an exhausting day, mainly watching Stranger Things! While we were watching I did a bit of crafting. I always take a few things away with me where ever we go as I can never been too far away from paper, ink and glue! While away I also visited charity shops, a few antique places and found a fabulous stall in Covent Garden. 


Let's See What I Bought & Made While On Holiday

What I got! 

  • My name in letters! 
    • I just loved these vintage printing letters and had so much fun finding just the right ones to spell Nigezza
  • The book ends will be perfect to display my hand made journals in my room, a bargain from a charity shop in Windsor
  • My chest of drawers is just beautiful, bought the day we went to Hampton Court
  • I also got a lovely vintage organ music book that is in Landscape so when added to a journal they will be the in the correct orientation
  • I made some #msscrabusters library pockets
  • I also made some tag bases ready for future projects
  • I remembered a Cori Dahmen video using thin strips so had a go at those as well
  • I also started work on an Alice In Wonderland Journal!

Stamp Around UK September Video Hop - Clean & Simple

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

Can you believe it is September already?! How quick is this your going? So the first of the month and that means it is the Stamp Around UK video hop. This month the theme is Clean & Simple, really not my style! But I had to make a car for my God son in a hurry as I had forget to send his car in time and he is really into Captain America so I came up with this design and realised it fitted the brief! Yay! love it when that happens. The one I sent had a belated birthday wish on it but the one I made for the video hop had a Happy Birthday greeting from the great stamp set Go To Greetings. I have used the smallest star fro the retired Stitched Stars die set.

    • Score @ 4 1/8" on the long side
    • US size card - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2
    • Score @ 4 1/4"

  • Card Ma1 1 -  5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
    • US size 5 1/4" x 4"
