How cute is this card? Love it, and I love that is uses a non Christmas stamp for this special Christmas greeting.  I  thinking outside the box when it comes to making cards.

Love the colour combo of this card and the clever masking used.  Impossible not to like a card that uses Highland Heather & Gorgeous Grape!

Jill has used the lovely Joy To The World Paper Pumpkin kit for these cards. She started simple and then stepped it up. I really love this Marry Christmas sentiment.

Junk Journal December Daily Episode 1

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator 

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. This week as part of my Junk Journal series I  am bringing you the first episode of my December Daily journal. This is a small A6 size journal that I intend to write in all through December.  Last week I showed you how I made this journal. I did not embellish it or add tags because I am doing this as I go.  I am using the Christmas freebie digitals I have accumulated over the last few months from Artymaze, Tracie Fox, Carol Tinson & Scrapbooking With Me Crafts plus some Public Domain images I have sourced myself. 

Measurements & Materials

• I decorated the first page using Playful Alphabet dies from Stampin' Up!
• I cut them from different colour card stock
• I then stamped over them using the script stamp from Stampin' Up! Very Versailles 
• This is one of my favourite sets and is perfect for Junk Journals
• I also added some stamping with the Poinsettia Petals stamp set
• I used some of Artymaze digitals to create the journalling card and tag
• I added some die cuts and the cute robins that I coloured and die cut
• I love to mix my Stampin' Up! stash with junk journalling
• I hate my hand writing so I typed my journalling, I may write at some point ...

Time for the closeups

I found these cute elves on a public domain site, I just love them and they gave me the space to write about us putting up our Christmas tree and decs and the lovely evening that followed. Grateful to be in a bubble with my eldest son.

Stamp Around UK December Video Hop: Star Tree Decoration

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator 

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today is the first of the month so that means i am taking part in the Stamp Around UK video hop. This month the theme is  Glitter, Sparkle, Jazzle & Dazzle1 I have made some blingy stars for my Christmas tree. I do hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well and then hop around and see what everyone else has made :-) 

Measurements and Materials

• These are are pretty straight forward
• Cut 2 stars the same size
• Score a line fro each point of the star to the opposite middle point
• Repeat for each point
• Crease along each score line
• Pinch each point together to form the 3D star shape
• 2 mini dimentionals were stuck at the send of each point on one of the stars
• Thread was added to once point
• Both stars were stuck together
• The decorative star was added to each side 
• The finishing touch was the gems
