I am taking part in the August Project Share Blog Hop, this is the one with my friends Verity, Heather & Jill. I share their projects every week on my blog and once a month we do a blog hop. This month the theme is vintage.  I chose this theme!  I am using the lovely Designer Series Paper  Earthen Elegance and the Meadow Dies to create 3 tags and an ephemera holder.  All from a 12"x 8" sheet of paper.

Let's Upcycle A Scrap Box

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

At the weekend I was offered this box from my Father-In-Law,  I of course said YES!  I love the magnetic closure and knew straight away that it would be a good box for scraps. I had a lovely shoe box but was finding the closure on it was not that easy to use but this would be perfect.  I have been doing a major overhaul in my craft room and one of the things I have been doing is trying to keep my stash under control. SO my idea is to have this box for scraps and only this box. If it is full then before I add more I need to make space for it so I either get rid of something or use something or use the new things straight away.

Staggered Circles On Vintage Tags: Come Crafting With Jill & Gez Facebook Live Replay

On Sunday on our Facebook group Come Crafting With Jill & Gez, Jill & I we did our monthly live crafting session. We had some technical difficulties so we are not actually on screen together sadly and my phone filmed in portrait so that is why the video does not fill the screen!  

This month we both used some of the online exclusives from Stampin' Up! These are not in the catalogue but can be found in my online shop.  I am using the circle punches. There is a 1 3/4" circle punch and a 2" circle punch available online and then there is a new 2 3/8" circle punch in the new Annual catalogue.  I used these 3 punches to make a staggered circle pattern. I have wanted to so this for ages but never got round to it ...until now.  This is a 2-4-1 project, you punch out 2 of each circle and this makes 2 of the staggered shapes. 

As usual we set a monthly challenge and this was drawn in the live and we will send a small prize to the winner.  Why not join us next time.
