Quick Tip For Flip Outs

I have a quick tip for you today for adding a flip out with lots of journaling space to your altered books. It also doubles as a tuck spot as well so it's a bit of a BOGOF as well! It is so simple and uses an off cut from a page so it's a scrap buster so that is a BOGTF! that doesn't work so well does it 😂

In the civeo you will see me use the book weight I got for my birthday lasy year, it is so handy when making altered books. You can find this in my Amazon store front under Tools & Storage. Here is the flip through of the Autumn/Fall altered book I have been working on for the past few weeks. This was using the lovely Autumn kits by Rach & Bella Crafts and was my October Design Team Project. I really enjoyed making this and loved how it turned out. I am also delighted that it has gone to a good home where it is going to be loved.

I am continuing with the altered book I am making with the lovely Autumn/Fall kits by RachandBella Crafts. In my last video I made the tags and I showed how I prepared the altered book. In the second part I finished off covering the pages and added pockets and Belly bands. In this 5th part I am adding side pockets and a horizontal belly band.
