Last week I attended the first retreat organised by Rach from RachandBella Crafts. It was from Monday to Wednesday, 3 days of crafting, laughter, inspiration and making new friends.  I had an amazing time. The location was absolutely amazing. I really wish I had taken more pictures of the little quirky things that was all over the farm house I stayed in. Wonderful pieces of old furniture and amazing old books including a very old bible. 

We were all given 2 goodie bags, one was from Grabbie & the other was put together by Rach. Lots of lovely ephemera for using in journal making and also a handmade journal. I cannot believe that Rach made everyone a journal, that must have taken her so much time. 

I also was very lucky enough to receive another journal in the swap we did. Everyone made something and these were wrapped and placed in a large bag and we each picked one out. I was blown away by what I received.  In my show and tell video I do a flick through at the end of the video.

We took part in some workshops, slow stitching, mixed media and lastly we all made individual masterboards. Rachel collected these in and has made a digital kit with them. We have each received a cope of this and it is a wonderful resource. Below is a picture of my masterboard. I really enjoyed making this.
