I have had so much fun crating these document folders following #roxysweeklychallenge. This is the second time I have joined in, this is week 6 & us actually this weeks challenge. I watched part of Racheal's video on Friday night before I fell asleep ... that sounds awful doesn't it! I watch YouTube in bed and often fall asleep before one has finished. I finally finished watching on Sunday and made my first version. I just loved it so I filmed on Tuesday. I did one very much the same as the first one and then made a second with a leather cover, this has got to be my favourite. I was lucky enough to find an upholstery sample book in a charity shop that had samples of leather. They are the perfect size for journal covers.
For the first 2 I made I used Tracie Fox's digital kit Vintage Compendium, the documents were from Artymaze's French Ephemera Kit 2 as well as some from The Ild Design Shop. They were then distressed and folded and inked to look genuine. I also added vintages book pages, ledger pages, music sheets & notepaper. The last one had a leather cover. I am so pleased with how the leather one turned out.
