Gut A Book With Me & Make Some Ephemera & Journal Pages

This week I gutted a book and used the beautiful illustrations in a journal. This was not an old book, it was a newish floral book and I wanted to show how these could be used in a vintage journal. I used some elements straight away and others pages are now ready to go in another journal. I wanted to save some space and also make sure I used the book.

The Project Share 24th August 2023

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator  

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, it's Thursday so it's time for another Project Share.  Every Thursday I chose a project from 3 of my crafty friends. From the left we have Me,  Verity aka Inkybutterfly,  Heather aka Stamp with Nellie and Jill aka Paper Daisy Crafting.

 

Heather from Stamp With Nellie

First up we have Heather who has made a lovely scrapbook of her recent trip to Disney World. She used the Love This Memory Notebook Kit. A lovely bright and cheery kit which proved perfect for this trip.

Verity from Inkybutterfly  

Next we have Verity who has been layering up leaved to create this wonderful wreath card. Like Verity I love wreaths as well. You are really going to want to watch the video to see how this was achieved.

Jill from Paper Daisy Crafting

Finally we have Jill.  Jill first made this card design back in May but has only now got around to filming the tutorial. She change the colour for the video to Moody Mauve and Lost Lagoon ... good choices.

Mass Make Scrappy Side Tucks

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

I have been plying with scraps and doing a mass make. I have made some long clusters that can be used as side tucks on a page. I have seen these while watching journal flip throughs on YouTube but never made any myself so thought I would have a go and include them in my latest journal I am working on.  Quick and easy to do and they use up scraps so very productive as well.
