Magnolia Lane Layered Birthday card

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. Yesterday I shared a card using some retired DSP and current products, well I made the card again this time using the lovely Magnolia Lane DSP. It is the first time I have used this paper, I have stroked it a lot but not actually cut in to it! 

Measurements and Materials

• Mossy Meadow Card base - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
• Whisper White Mat - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
• Magnolia Lane DSP layer - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"
• Topper Magnolia Lane DSP - 3" x 2"
• Mossy Meadow Mat - 3 1/8" x 2 1/8"
• Whisper White mat - 3 1/4" x 2 1/4"
• Vellum banner - 1 1/2" x 3"
• Embossed with Scripty Embossing folder
• Mossy Meadow scraps for the leaves
• Stamped in Versamark using the Painted Harvest stamp set
• Mossy Meadow Linen Thread
• Sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthday
• Cut out using the smallest stitched rectangle

Mixing the old with the new: Peaceful Card

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project. I needed to make a card for a friend who needs some support so wanted a calm peaceful card. I just love the colours in this beautiful woodgrain paper so this was my starting point. I teamed it up withe the script sheet from the Neutrals 6x6 paper stack and added some velum that I embossed using the new Scripty embossing folder. A few sprigs and some twine and it was complete when I added my favourite sentiment for letting friends know you are thinking of them.

• Card base - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
• DSP layer - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
• Topper DSP - 3" x 2"
• Whisper White Mat - 3 1/8" x 2 1/8"
• Card stock mat - 3 1/4" x 2 1/4"

Twist & Pop Card for InspireINK Blog Hop

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. I am here today with the tutorial  for the twit & pop card I made for the blog hop I was on yesterday.  I made this card for my Great Nieces 21st birthday, so I wanted it to be a bit 'wow' ... it was! 

Measurements and Materials

Card Base Blueberry Bushel

• Cut a sheet of A4 in half long ways 11 3/4" x 4 1/8"
• Fold in half and burnish
• 10" x 3 1/2"
• Score on long side @ 2 1/2" - 5" - 7 1/2"
• 8" x 3 1/2"
• Score on the short side @ 1 3/4"
• Score on the long side @ 2 1/4" - 5 3/4"
• Flip and repeat

Card decoration

• Whisper White card mats x 4
• 5 3/8" x 3 7/8"
• DSP mat x 3
• 5 1/4" x 3 3/4"
• Whisper White small mats x 4
• 2 3/8" x 3 3/8"
• DSP mats x 4
• 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
• Scraps of Whisper White to cut numbers, lacy borders and happy birthday
• Scraps of Blueberry Bushel to cut lacy borders and happy birthday
• Whisper White to make the flower for the front
