Just in case you are new to my blog let me introduce Jill she is on the left of this photo (I am on the right). She has a lovely Blog which I am sure you will want to check out once you see the projects I have chosen to show you.

Jill & Gez Go Crafting #9 Stampin' Up! Demonstrators

Project 1

Jill & Gez Go Crafting #11 Nigezza Creates, Stampin' Up!

Jill made this card for a fancy fold challenge. I really like this card because it is so bright and summery, which is odd for me because I do not normally go for yellow! I also love the sentiment topper on this card, the way the stitched circle sits inside the scallop circle is so effective.

Project 2

Jill & Gez Go Crafting #11 Nigezza Creates, Stampin' Up!

I bought some tictacs ages ago to do this and have never got around to it ....love these that Jill has made and I am sure her customers will have liked them as well. This DSP makes them look so pretty, such a versatile pack.

Project 3

Jill & Gez Go Crafting #11 Nigezza Creates, Stampin' Up!

This last card is a sneak peek at the new catalogue. This was an On Stage Make and Take ...I've not done mine yet! The birds have been coloured using the blends and Jill has done this so well that it looks so realistic. Don't think my effort will look so good!

I hope you enjoyed the 3 projects I chose and I hope you will go and check out Jill's Blog, she also has video tutorials for each of these projects as well.

Happy Crafting :-)

Monday Memories! 2018-2020 In Colours & Varied Vases

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well. I am doing a throwback today. I am sharing the first project I did with the 2018-2020 In Colours. I have been busy making 2019-2021 In Colour swatches to go out with the new catalogue to all my customers and it got me thinking about when I was using last years In Colours for the first time.

Nigezza Creates a Stampin' Up! memory, 2018-2020 In Colours & Varied Vases

Measurements and Materials

  • Each card has a standard card base made from Extra Thick Whisper White
  • Half a sheet of A4 cut in half and scored in half
  • Mat in the in colour card stock
  • I then gutted this but cutting out some vases, a round tab for my sponges and a Every Day label
  • Mat in Whisper White
  • I stamped the Scallop edge on the Whisper White Mat in Memento Ink
  • Filled in in with the In Colour I was using
  • Stamped 3 of the flower stems in Memento above this 'shelf'
  • Filled in in with the In Colour I was using
  • I stamped the vases in the in colour onto Whisper White and punched out
  • I then varied the vases on the card
  • Some were tone on tone, some colour on Whisper White and some just an outline which I water coloured to look like water
  • I added a sentiment under the 'shelf'

Template for punching vases

  • To help with stamping and punching out the vases I created a template
  • I punched the vases out of cradstock
  • I trimmed this down to make a template
  • I lined this up with the stamps so I could position them on my acrylic block
  • I was then able to stamp all 3 vases and punch out easily with little cardstock wastage
  • I now keep the template in the stamp box
