The Project Share January Blog Hop: New Catalogue

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well.  Today is the launch of the new Stampin' Up! Jan-June mini catalogue and Sale-A-Bration 2022 and I am hopping with my lovely friends and team mates, Verity, Heather & Jill. We normally hop on the first Saturday of the month but postponed until today because we were all on a video hop on Saturday and also thought it would be nice to do a catalogue launch hop. 

I have used. anew bindle from the catalogue Artfully Layered. I just love sets with foliage and the stamp set also has some scrip which I can never resist. I have made a simple stamping project with some added die cutting but the card would look just as lovely without the die cuts I think.

Jill & Gez Go Crafting Jan 3rd 2022

Welcome to Jill & Gez Go Crafting, this is our fortnightly blog post where we share 3 projects of each others. I do hope you like the projects I have chosen to share with you. Jill & Gez Go Crafting with Stampin Up 2nd March



Just in case you are new to my blog let me introduce Jill (Paper Daisy Crafting) she is on the right of this photo (I am on the left). She has a lovely Blog which I am sure you will want to check out.

As the new Stampin' Up! Jan - June Mini catalogue goes live tomorrow I thought I would pick projects that give you a sneak peek of new projects.

Jill has been decorating a calendar and for March she used the new Daffodil Daydream bundle. I love the blended background and the extra dots that have been stamped.

Here is another month in the calendar and this time Jill has used the lovely stamp set designed by our upline Sam Hammond-Donald.  Such a lovely set with endless possibilities.  This project shows how the little flowers in this stamp set coordinates with the Strawberry builder punch.

Finally Jill has used the Sentimental Swirls again to make this great tag card. You can see now when you compare to the previous project how versatile this set is.

Match Book Tea Bag Treat Holder

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well.  Today I am bringing you the little treat holders I sent out with my catalogues to my customers. I have used some new products to give them a preview of what is coming up in the new catalogue and Sale-A-Bration. The DSP I used is a SAB freebie, the foliage behind the sentiment is a new punch in the new catalogue' I love punches and I love foliage so this was a no brainer for me, it was top of my wish list.

I always like to put a little something in with the catalogues and this time it was a fruit tea bag, I imagine them putting the kettle on and making a nice cuppa and then settling down to look through the catalogue ... that is pretty much what I did!

Stamp Around UK Jan 2022 Video Hop: Stamping On DSP & OSW

Thank you for visiting my blog and a very happy New Year to you. It is 2022! Can you believe that? I remember this time last year we were all thinking thank goodness 2020 is over this year has to be better ... well it was an improvement but still not the best. Got everything crossed for this year. What ever happens I will still be here crafting away!  

Right so back to today's project. I have done a One Sheet Wonder! I made this for the video hop with Stamp Around UK. Our theme is stamping, so I did some stamping on some DSP (Designer Series Paper) and then used this to make some cards. I do have some scraps left over and did not make cards with them yet. SO far I have made 9 cards.  I used some DSP and matching stamp set that is FREE in Sale-A-Bration starting Jan 4th 2022. I love how the stamps match the images on the DSP, it really gives the paper a lift and makes some lovely paper look absolutely amazing. Granny Apple Green is not my normal colour but it is nice to do something different for a change.

Measurements and Materials

  • Card base 
    • Half a standard sheet

  • I used the stitched rectangle dies to cut all the mats of different sizes for the card fronts
  • Each mat was framed with a card stock frame again cut using the stitched rectangles
  • I used the sentiments form the stamp set
  • Hello Friend sentiment was die cut with a stitched rectangle & the Birthday sentiment was die cut with the lovely label die from the Meadow dies. 
  • The finishing touch was the leaves that were punched out using a new punch in the Jan-June mini catalogue Bough Punch
  • As these are new items and the catalogue is not yet live I am unable to link them below, if I remember I will update on the 4th Jan!
