New York Skyline Scrapbook Layout

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am bringing you the tutorial for the scrapbook layout I did for the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. This month the theme was summer so I  decided to do a double spread from our wonderful summer holiday in 2019. Amongst other places we went to New York so I have some photos of our favourite building so decided to creates a skyline using punches and dies. I am really pleased with how it turned out. Simple and quick but I think effective. 

Measurements and Materials

• Smoky Slate card stock was used with various punches & dies  to create this simple skyline

Jill & Gez Go Crafting 2nd August 2021!

Welcome to Jill & Gez Go Crafting, this is our fortnightly blog post where we share 3 projects of each others. I do hope you like the projects I have chosen to share with you. Just in case you are new to my blog let me introduce Jill (Paper Daisy Crafting) she is on the right of this photo (I am on the left). She has a lovely Blog which I am sure you will want to check out.

Project 1

Jill made this card as part of her beginners series. She has let the beautiful Expressions In Ink DSP do all the work. I love this DSP and have done the same with. different sheet and plan to do it with this sheet as well.

I love how Jill has used the Colour & Contour Bundle for this card. The added strip of DSP is just perfect.

Project 3 

For this last card Jill has used some of the DSP that is FREE in Sale-A-Bration that starts on August 3rd. I love the use of the Brick & Mortar embossing folder & the butterflies work so well to bring the whole card together. I do love a square card.

Stamp Around UK August Video Hop: Monochrome

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Can you believe it is August already? I really can't believe how quick time has gone since March. Anyway the first of the month means it is Stamp Around UK video hop. The theme is Monochrome so I have used some of the FREE Sale-A-Bration DSP to make this no cut gift bag, I also used some ribbon that is available in the new Mini Catalogue.  I have made a similar bag before but I resized it so that the DSP panel is 3" x 4" so it is more economical. This means you can make 6 from one sheet of 12"x12" sheet. 

Measurements and Materials

• Card Stock 7 1/2" x 10 1/4"
• Score on short side @ 1 1/2" & 6"
• Score on long side @ 3/4" - 4 1/4" - 6" - 9 1/2"
• Make 2 marks on each long side @ 2 3/4" & 7 1/2"
• Score a diagonal line from each of these marks to the next score line where two lines meet
• DSP mats 3" x 4"
• Card stock mats 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
• Scraps to decorate
