My First Ever (Possibly Last) Slow Stitch Journal Part 1

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

This is the start of a challenge to make a fabric journal using slow stitching. I will also be using a machine and will have a few 'cheats' along the way. I have never done this before so why not join me in my journey as I make mistakes! This is part of a challenge in the facebook group Junk Journalling For Everyone. Why not join in.

I have absolutely no idea what I am doing! I have watched a few videos and am just going with the flow.

Christmas Bauble Over The Page Tags

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

Is it too early for Christmas crafting|? I don't think so. Over in the Facebook group Junk Journalling For Everyone  it is my turn to set the weekly challenge. We have decided to do Christmas in September so that we have everything we need to make either a December daily or a Christmas journal. The idea is to make 6 things a week. There are 5 Saturdays in September so that means one week you need to make 7 to get your 31 items. 

In this last week we are making Christmas bauble over the page tags with some hidden journaling space. I have also made a larger tag to give you options. Do check out the video linked below which shows how I made the last 2 of the set of 6 & larger tag.

Let's Make Some Vintage Christmas Faux Envelopes With Pocket & Tag #JJ4Eweeklychallege

In this 3rd week we are making faux Christmas Envelopes with a pocket and tag plus some hidden journaling space. I have used 6x6 doubled sided paper for each envelope plus some scraps and old book pages for the tag. Do check out the video linked below which shows how I made the last 2 of the set of 6.
