InspireINK March Blog Hop - Colour Challenge

I am taking part in the InspireINK Blog Hop. This month it is a colour challenge ...not my favourite sort of challenge. The colours are  Petal Pink, Sweet Sorbet, Shaded Spruce, Balmy Blue, Mango Melody and Night of Navy.  We cold use all of them or some of them, I was going to just use the blues then my friend Heather pointed out that they were the colours in the Regency Park DSP. Life saver, we had some of that DSP left over from the Pootler event we had just been on. I needed a Mother's Day so that is what I have made. I did a bit of fussy cutting as well, so it is clear I think a lot of my Mother In Law! 

Measurements and Materials

• Card base 
• Half a standard sheet
• 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
• Score @ 4 1/8" on the long side
• US size card - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2
• Score @ 4 1/4"
• Metric 21cm x 14.5cm
• Score @ 10.5cm 
• Card Ma1 1 -  5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
• US size 5 1/4" x 4"
• Metric 14cm x 10cm

InspireINK January Blog Hop: New Year New Project

I am hopping with the InspireINK blog hop. This is a team blog hop and it is always lovely to be doing something with such a wonderful talented group of people. This is the first hop of the year and our theme is New Year New Project. I am doing a new project with a brand new product, Twigs & Sprigs, an embossing folder and a die. It is a hybrid embossing folder so it embosses and die cuts at the same time. I have had my eye on this for a while because I do love foliage and was thrilled to win it during a facebook live in the Crafty Scots Corner. It arrived yesterday and I immediately went to my craft desk and made this card. 

Measurements and Materials

• Card base 
• Half a standard sheet
• 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
• Score @ 4 1/8" on the long side
• Metric 21cm x 14.5cm
• Score @ 10.5cm 
• US size card - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2
• Score @ 4 1/4"
• Card Ma1 1 -  5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
• Metric 14cm x 10cm
• US size 5 1/4" x 4"
• Card Mat 2 - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"
• Metric 13.5cm x 9.5cm
• US size 5" x 3 3/4"
• I inked the embossing folder before I put ot through my die cutting machine which is how I got the leaves to have the impression that they were stamped.

InspireINK December Blog Hop - The Best Of 2022

I am hopping with the InspireINK Blog Hop and our theme is the Best of 2022. I have chosen one of my favourite Christmas cards i have made this year. I recently went to stay with my brother and my sister came to visit and saw this card and loved it. It reminded me of how much I like it and I was sorry I had chosen a different card for her! I have a few more cards to make so I am thinking of doing this design again for the last few cards I need to make.
