Let's Make Christmas Trees From Books & Catalogues

Recently Tracie Fox did a video that involved some paper folding to make a Christmas Tree. It reminded me of Christmas Trees I used ot make with my students when I was a teacher. I just had to have a go. The first tree, the green one is made from a Stampin' Up! catalogue, the other one is made from half a book.

Let's Use Book Pages To Make Tags & Pockets

I have decided to start making some videos dedicated to using book pages. In this video I am using thicker book pages. A lot of old book pages are very thin and fragile but occasionally I find books with quite thick pages. I thought these would be perfect for pockets and tags.

Using Old Photos From A Modern Book To Make Faux Vintage Ephemera

On Monday I bought this lovely book in a charity shop, it is full of vintage photos from South Yorkshire and there are a few from Hull which is East Yorkshire and where I live.  I wanted to use the book straight away as all too often I put my purchases on a shelf and forget about them! So watch me create some ephemera from these great images.  I made a full page side pockets, a belly band, a journaling card and a faux postcard.
