I have just got back from a wonderful week in France. We saw so many great towns and of course Paris. I picked up lots of lovely goodies for making my journals. I collected actual junk of course as well as some mew things and some very old things. I reveal them all in the video and I also vintage up some new things I bought. I was so thrilled to find a Guest Check pad and a receipt pad, I love that they are in French, these are going to be a fab addition to my journals especially the French themed one I intend t make.  I enjoyed making them look old with the 2 French stamp sets I have and my distress oxide inks. Quick, simple and effective.

Easy Lunch Bag Pocket With Flower Fairies #jj4eweeklychallenge

I am bringing you the weekly challenge for the Facebook group Junk Journalling For Everyone. Every week a challenge is set and for the month of July our theme is fairies. I am using the lovely Flower Fairies book for my challenge but you can use any type of fairy you have. I have a big pack of American style lunch bags I got from my last holiday there and so am thinking of different ways to use them. Today I am making a treble pocket for the inside cover of the journal. I am also adding a journalling card and tag I have previously made.  The third pocket is a little upward tuck at the bottom. Of course you could make a 4th pocket by gluing this in place on 3 sides, but I don't think I will do this as the main pocket is gusseted so will hold loads.

Rach And Bella Crafts DT Project: Ephemera From Eastern Promise Kit

Welcome to my blog, thank you for joining me today 😀

I absolutely thrilled to be bringing you my first DT (Design Team) project for Rach And Bella Crafts. I had the pleasure of attending the recent craft retreat that Rach had organised and just before the event she had put out a call for new DT members. So at the retreat I asked her if she would consider me and she said yes of course.  So we got to chose a kit to work from and I decided o this stunning Eastern Promise kit. I loved the colours, I really loved the images of the women and I thought this could compliment the little bit of boho I have already made. 

In the video I show you the kit and all the ephemera I made while recovering from my recent holiday to France. Then I show you how I made each piece.
