Facebook Live Replay Oct 23rd: Live Crafting

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. It is Monday so as I have been doing recently I am bringing you the Facebook Live I did last Wednesday. I CASEd' the catalogue from 2014 and came up with this card. Originally the set that was used was Festival of trees but I have brought it up to date with the Wrapped in Plaid bundle. 

Measurements and Materials

• Card Base - Merry Merlot
• 8 1/4" x 5  7/8" - Score @ 4 1/8"
• 14.6cm x 21cm - Score @ 10.5cm

• Mat 1 - Whisper White 
• 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
• 14.3cm x 10cm
• Neutral Family 6" x 6" DSP
• Scraps used, punch a tree from one bit
• strip 1/2" x 5 1/4"  (1.3cm x 13.5cm)
• Merry Merlot scrap 1/2" x 5"  (1.3cm x 13cm)

Simple Stamping Snowman Season Card With Ed Who Has Never Made A Card Before!

Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project and will take a look at the video tutorial as well.  Yesterday I was the InspireINK blog hop, I do this every month and the theme this month is Back to Basics, so I have done #simplestamping. We were allowed to use one stamp set, one ink pad, one card stock colour (along with white, black or vanilla) and one punch or 1 die cut. I have kept mine really simple by not using the punch or die cut.

I designed a very simple card, then I stepped it up a bit, then stepped it up again but still keeping it simple. 

To test how simple my design was I got my other half, Ed, who has never stamped or made a card in his life follow my instructions and design. He did really well and you can see his debut stamping on my YouTube channel now!

I think you will agree he did really well for his first time ...can't wait to see what he does next!

Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop: Colour Challenge

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I am so excited to be taking part in my first Ink, Stamp, Share Blog Hop. If you are visiting me for the first time then let me introduce myself. I am Gez from Nigezza Creates and I am a UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  The theme of this blog hop is a colour challenge. We were given 5 colours and had to chose 3 of them.  These were the colours

Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron and Purple Posy. I decided to go with Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry and Mint Macaron to make this bold bright flower Birthday card. 

Measurements and Materials

• Card Base - Thick Whisper White
• 8 1/4" x 5  7/8" - Score @ 4 1/8"
• 14.6cm x 21cm - Score @ 10.5cm
• Mat 1 -  Poppy parade
• 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
• 14.3cm x 10cm
• Mat 2 - Embossed Whisper White using the Scripty Folder
• 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"
• 13.8cm x 9.5cm
• Flower
• Punched 2 large Daisies out of the Poppy Parade DSP from the 6"x6" Brights colour family DSP
• Punched 2 medium Daisies out of the Poppy Parade DSP from the 6"x6" Brights colour family DSP
• 2 leaves were punched out of Mint Macaron DSP from the 6"x6" Subtles colour family DSP
• Also cut a strip to form the stem of the flower
• 1/2" circle was punched form Crushed Curry DSP from the 6"x6" Regals colour family DSP
• Sentiment
• Happy & Birthday sentiments from Well Said were stamped separately in Poppy Parade onto Whisper White
• They were then cut out close to the words and slanted at each end
• They were then glues to Pappy Parade and again cut to form a mat
• I really like doing this with sentiments and then sticking them on the card separately
