Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project. I have made a no cut origami gift box using a 12"x12"sheet of Playful Penguins DSP. This Christmas gift box was made for the Stampin' For Christmas Blog Hop. I decided to make something with the busy Penguin DSP as I have customers who struggle with busy sheets. I am so happy with how this turned out.
I have not made one of these boxes for years, I learnt how to make them back in 2013 way before I was a Stampin' Up! Demo. I used to make these a lot for my students as gifts when they were leaving for University. They are great because they are fold flat and can be made in advance and stored flat until they were required.
Measurements and Materials
- 12" x 12" Sheet of DSP (Designer Series Paper
- Score @ 1 1/2" - 3" - 3 3/4"
- Rotate 180⁰ & repeat score lines
- If your paper has a directional pattern this is the side where the direction is in the correct orientation
- Rotate 90⁰ Score @ 3" & 4 1/2"
- Rotate 180⁰ & repeat score lines
- Fold all 4 corners to the 4 1/2" score line
- Now fold and burnish all score lines
- Video tutorial will show all the folding needed to create this box
