Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. As you will know if you are a regular to my blog, I am on the Design Team on the Facebook group Stampin' For All which is run by Amanda Charlesworth AKA Scrimping Mommy. Each week challenges are set by the Design Team. There is a Monday themed challenge that runs until the Friday and is then blogged with all entries at the weekend. Every Wednesday there is a broader challenge often a sketch or colour challenge. These run Wednesday to Wednesday. These are for fun and to inspire. A few weeks ago I set a Sketch challenge and I was so overwhelmed by how many people joined in that I just had to write this blog to share them with everyone. These challenges are open to any member of the Facebook group and it is a great way to be creative and often try something new or out of your comfort zone. Last week it had me making a card with pink! (not my favourite colour!)
Sketch Challenge
I have written a blog and filmed a tutorial for my card I made but I will show you again.
My 2 cards to start every one off
I used the new Stitched Rectangles from Stampin' Up! for these cards.
The Stampin' For All groups cards :-)
This first card is by Amanda Charlesworth. I love all the bold patterns in the paper she used.
Victoria Littlewood made this lovely card. I really like the individual letters in the sentiment.
This card was made by Heather Forgan. I am not a fan of pink but I really like this card, I especially love the embossed layer.
I am delighted to see Sharleene join in this challenge as she is my Niece. We live really far away from each other but do craft together when we do see each other. Love the way the striped paper goes with the stripes on the heart and a great sentiment.
This card is by Anw Lewis. I love these pandas, such fun and what a fab idea to use them as a background stamp.
The is a card by Sylvia Hamilton ...another member of my family! Sylvia is my sister and started card making last January and is totally hooked! Like Sharleene we don't get together very often but when we do we can craft all day and night! Love the use of the glasses stamp to match the background paper.
This card is by Pam Campbell I love the colours in the card and the neat matting really makes each layer pop.
This entry is by Verity Pursglove. Love this paper, its like fireworks exploding at the party, such fun.
This card is by Karen Jane Tilley, I love purple and the use of the butterflies in the same colour as the leaves really bring this card together.
This card is by Hannah McCurley, I think I have completely overlooked this stamp, very pretty and reminds me of a fountain in Paris I once had to spend 2 days of my holiday there hunting for because my Great niece was obsessed by some programme it featured in! Anyway I digress from this lovely card, love the matting it really pops.
Debbie Roberts made this next card. Love how she has picked out the colours in the butterflies and matched them to the ribbons, just beautiful.
Beth Metzger Scharnell has made this next card. beautiful colouring on velum and I love how the main focal point has been picked out bu the white card ... and of course its purple <3
Debbie Harper has given us another lovely butterfly card. Just stunning. I love the flight trails, whenever I try and do that it always looks a right mess. Love how the black and white really compliments the bright green.
Carol Pocock has made a wonderful masculine card. It looks a bit industrial to me, I really love the silver embossed layer and the way the bottle blend into the paper and yet stand out as well.
This last card is from my other sister, Dee Martin, the 3 members of my family all crafted together to enter this challenge, so jealous that they get to craft together regularly. Another lovely panda card and I love how the red balloon really pops off the page.
I do hope you enjoyed seeing these cards as much as I have enjoyed sharing them. I love the challenges set on the group, do join in :-)
I will be back tomorrow with another project, until then ... Happy Crafting!
