Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator

Hi and thank you for joining my today on the InspireINK Bloghop.  The theme this time was Fun Fair. I thought about the fun fairs I have been to with my family and it is the Disney Parks that we visited that popped into my mind and then I remembered the Birthday Backgrounds Stamp set and the firework exploding image. So this is where this card from.

Measurements and Material

• Card blank is made with extra thick Whisper White 6" x 3" scored @ 3"
• Basic black card stock 3" x 3"
• Birthday Backgrounds Stamp set 
• Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set
• Balloon Punch 
• White Embossing powder 
• Selection of Stampin Blends
• Whisper White Twine
• Scrap of Whisper White cardstock
• VersaMark Ink
• Memento Black Ink
• Stitched Framelit Dies - Largest Square 

Embossing and colouring

• I stamped the Basic Black square with versa mark and the firework stamp
• I sprinkled with White embossing powder and heat embossed
• I then coloured with Stampin Blends (Stampin Write Markers will not work) 
• I got this idea from a swap I got from On Stage by Janice from Jazzle Dazzle Crafts who is on this blog hop and you can find her on YouTube as well. 
• I stamped the scrap of Whisper White cardstock with the Hooray Balloon in Memento Black
• I cut the balloon out using the Balloon Punch
• I coloured the balloon with Bermuda Bay Stampin Blends

Finishing off

• I used the Largest Square die from Stitched Framelits to cut the firework image down
• I stuck this to the card base
• I made a bow with the Whisper White Twine and stuck it to the balloon with a glue dot
• I used dimensionals to pop the balloon up on the card
