Pretty Ornate Layers Card

Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator 


Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it and hope you like the project. Today I am sharing the tutorial for the card I made for the Stampin' Dreams bog hop, the theme was new catalogue sneak peek. I am using the Ornate Garden suite, not quite a sneak peek but my preorder had not arrived in time and it is a new suite that is in the new catalogue and is available now to buy.  In the blog hop I showed a thank you card but for the video tutorial I changed it into a Birthday card and changed the colour as well. I am not sure which I like best.

Measurements and Materials


  • Thick Whisper White card base
    • 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
    • Score @ 4 1/8" on the long side
  • Terracotta Tile was used for the ornate frame from Ornate Layers dies
  • The DSP was cut using a Stitched Rectangle die, this nested really well in the Ornate Frame
  • The sentiment was stamped in Terracotta Tile
    • Peaceful Moments stamp set
    • Die cut the Stitched So Sweetly die set
  • To finish off I used some of the Terracotta Tile ribbon from the suite and tied a bow
