Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really do appreciate it. Today I am bringing you the tutorial for the card I made for the InspireINK blog hop and this month we had a card sketch. I really liked this sketch and before designing a card for the hop I used it to make my great Nephew a birthday card, he is a huge Harry Potter fan so I am sure he will like what I did. For the blog hop I went on my own interpretation of the sketch changing the circle to a cluster of elements to make this masculine card. I wanted to use the new DSP I had bought in the 15% off sale and the reason for buying In Good Taste DSP was for masculine projects. I love the neutral colour pallet and the natural looking images. I think this DSP goes so well with the Positive Thought stamp set and Dies.
Measurements and Materials
- Card base is Thick Whisper White
- 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
- Score @ 4 1/8" on the long side
- Base embossed with Brick & Mortar embossing folder
- All elements are die cut from Nature Thoughts die set and stamped with Positive Thoughts
- I used the same colours in the DSP and added some inking around all the edges to make them pop
- The sentiment is from Posted For You
- Punched out using the Classic Label punch
